Am I a candidate for permanent makeup?

To be considered a candidate, please review the requirements down below. Do not book if any of the following applies.

  • Under the age of 18.

  • Pregnant or nursing.

  • Skin allergies to pigments (patch tests are available).

  • Taking blood thinning medications.

  • HIV, Hepatitis or any other transmittable blood diseases.

  • Diabetic, cancer or undergoing chemo.

  • On any skin treatments such as accurate or other skin thinning treatments or medication.

How to prep for your permanent makeup appointment?

Please review the following to prepare for your permanent makeup appointment:

  • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, coffee and blood thinners at least 72 hours prior.

  • Avoid ibuprofen, Advil, etc. 48 hours prior.

  • Any cosmetic botox or fillers should be done three weeks prior.

  • Discontinue the use of any skin thinners such as vitamin A and glycol acids two weeks prior.

  • We will not tattoo on sores or moles in or around brow area.

  • Do not tint brows for at least two weeks before appointment. 

  • If you would like to wax or thread your brows prior to your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours before appointment (not required).

  • Please do not bring any additional guests or children to your appointment.

  • Come picture ready.

aftercare instructions

Results will vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, and the immediate and long term aftercare of your brows. Proper aftercare is CRUCIAL to ensure your best possible results. At the end of your appointment, you will be provided with an aftercare kit which includes all your necessities to take care of your brows and an aftercare instructions card. It is very important to follow these instructions for the full 10-14 day healing period to ensure proper healing and color retention.

  • Do not get brows wet for the first 10 days. 

  • Apply provided A&D ointment on your brows twice a day. 

  • Do NOT:

    • Use laser light therapy on your brow tattoo.​

    • Pick, scratch or peel brows during the scabbing and healing process.

    • Apply skincare products on brow tattoo.

    • Use Vaseline or Neosporin on your tattoo.

    • Apply any makeup on your brows for two weeks.

    • Use exfoliants, retinol acids, or AHAs on the area for 30 days after the appointment. This will cause premature fading.

    • Receive facials, massages, micro needling or skin treatments during the initial healing process.

Please avoid the following during the first 10-14 days of healing:

  • Increased sweating such as excessive working out or practice sports.

  • Swimming, hot sauna, hot bath or jacuzzi

  • Sun tanning or salon tanning 

  • Laser or chemical treatments or peelings 

  • Picking, peeling or scratching at the brow 

  • Touching the eyebrow area except for when applying the post-care cream with a cotton swab
